FOUNDING CHARITIES
The following charities signed a Coorporation Framework in 2015 to form the Smile Asia Alliance. The formation of the alliance allowed all to further achieve their objectives with greater ease through collaborations.
Smile Cambodia
CAMBODIA
Since 2003, Smile Cambodia has provided over 10,000 evaluations and more than 5,500 surgeries, establishing a centre in Phnom Penh in 2014 to better support the cleft community.
Future Smile
CHINA - MAINLAND
Future Smile Charitable Foundation began its operation in 2002. Since then, it has supported a total of 5.18 million individuals from a wide range of distressed groups.
Beam International
CHINA - HONG KONG
Established in 1991, Beam International Foundation provides free surgery to children with cleft lip and palate in China. They also offer training for medical professionals in China.
Mission Smile
INDIA
Established in 2002, Mission Smile is a medical charitable trust in India. They have delivered over 67,000 medical evaluations and more than 43,000 surgeries in India.
Smile Japan
JAPAN
Smile Japan was established in 2023. They are dedicated to improving healthcare access by dispatching medical professionals from Japan to medical activities across Asia.
The Smile Mission
SINGAPORE
Since 2008, The Smile Mission contributed to over 29,000 medical evaluations and more than 19,000 surgeries, while fostering a spirit of volunteerism among Singapore residents.
Bright Faces
UNITED STATES
Founded in 1994, Bright Faces is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) charity that serves cleft lip and palate patients in medically-inaccessible regions through programme partners.

CLAPAM
MALAYSIA
Cleft Lip and Palate Association Malaysia (CLAPAM) was established in 1992 and is the only nationwide organisation in Malaysia on matters related to cleft.
