CHARITY GALA 2025

The Smile Asia Charity Gala is a celebration of the life-changing surgeries made possible by Smile Asia in over 20 countries across Asia.

On 14 August 2025, our Guest-of-Honour Ms Gan Siow Huang, Singapore’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade & Industry presented the 2nd Smile Asia Philanthropic Visionary Award to Her Excellency Dr Pich Chanmony, the First Lady of Cambodia, in recognition of her exceptional contributions to philanthropy and humanitarian efforts in Cambodia and across Asia.

Dr Chanmony serves as Chairperson of Smile Cambodia, a member charity of Smile Asia, where she has led impactful programmes for children born with cleft lip and other facial deformities. Under her stewardship, Smile Cambodia has successfully organised 137 medical missions, providing comprehensive medical evaluations to 10,358 children and delivering 5,751 life-changing surgeries.

Through her philanthropic vision, Dr Pich Chanmony championed medical care and inspired a movement of hope across Cambodia and beyond. The Smile Asia Philanthropic Visionary Award is a testament to her enduring impact and commitment to creating a world where no child suffers from a treatable condition due to lack of resources.
